Home Support Services
We don’t provide a rigid list of jobs that our Home Support Workers carry out because we recognise that every customer is individual and will have different needs.
You tell us what Home Support Services you need, so we can spend the time doing the things you want support with most. You will have the same home supporter at every visit so that they get to know you and your home well. That way they can deliver the services that you require.
All of our services are offered weekly and fortnightly at an affordable rate. We charge per hour through a short-term contract, which means you can call upon our services when you need us most. All of our Home Support Workers are fully insured, and DBS checked for your peace of mind.

Other Services
Other services may include deep cleaning, watering your indoor plants, feeding the family pet or helping with the refuse. Our deep cleaning services are for when you need that extra level of cleaning. That might be for example when you want a spring clean, or when you have had some building work done, or perhaps an end of tenancy/house sale clean when you move house.
Companion Care
Uplifting care and friendship for your loved one
Platinum Home Support understands the incredible effects that socialization and companionship can have on elderly mental health and well-being. Opportunities to engage with others and grow relationships with friends, family, neighbours and community members can help improve symptoms of depression, ease feelings of senior isolation and loneliness, and even reduce the risk of dementia.
By spending time with our Home Supporter Workers, your loved one, not only has someone at the ready to help around the house or help prepare a meal, they also have a friend who offers social connection and a companion who can help them get back to doing the things that bring them joy.
What is companion care?
Companion care, or companionship, provides emotional support, friendship, and socialization.
Common home companion care activities include:
Conversation and mental stimulation, such as playing games or listening to music.
Meal prep and time spent together over breakfast, lunch.
Light activity, such as a walk or time spent outside.
Grocery shopping and errands.
Reminders for personal care and grooming.
Medication reminders.
Laundry and light housekeeping.
